This is the vintage Dahon fold-up bike, at its luxury trim level, showcasing a five-speed gear set and a nifty rear drum brake (along with a standard front rim brake). It was stored indoors, and it's in a very good shape. The rear tire is great-the front looks almost brand new.
It collapses into a very small bundle easily. You can leave the handlebars up, as seen in the first broken picture, and there's a little 3rd wheel that helps it stand up and even roll it along. For the tiniest footprint, you can even fold it much further. Properly folded, less than 3 feet long and less than 2 feet high.
The seat and handlebars have an enormous range, so that they fit a wide range of heights, from child to adult. I'm about 5'11, "and while the handlebars are fine, the limiting factor for me is the height of the seat. However, it may be just fine for someone with younger knees. I can ride it, but I'm used to being stretched out on my road bike.
